Getting Here
Getting
here is very easy. Depends on what method of transportation you choose,
below are some simple suggestions. Fiuggi has
good transport links to
Rome and very reasonable
in cost. This basic guide includes local transport
services
and train connections
to other cities in the region. Please consult
the latest timetables, website links are given
where available.
BY
AIR
Rome
is served by three
airports, the first being Rome
Fiumicino (international/inter-continental flights), Rome
Ciampino (low cost/charter/executive flights) and Rome Urbe (general aviation).
There are a number of cheap flights from the UK
and rest of Europe to Italy. Fiuggi is most easily served by Ciampino
Airport
(G. B Pastine) or by Roma Fiumicino (Leonardo Da Vinci) which
handles all major carriers for both international and intercontinental
flights.
Fiumicino
Airport - FCO - (Leonardo DaVinci) International
IATA: FCO
ICAO: LIRF
Fiumicino handles all major International carriers:

Airports Website for live flight arrival and departure information.
There is also a direct rail link from Fiumicino Airport to Rome city centre
stopping at various stations: Roma Tiburtina - Roma Ostiense -
Roma Tuscolana - Roma Termini. A one-way ticket is
approximately € 8.00. Note: services start in early morning and end at
2300 hrs. Please check www.trenitalia.it
for more details.
Ciampino
Airport - CIA - (G.
B. Pastine)
IATA: CIA
ICAO: LIRA
Ciampino
handles the following carriers:

Ciampino
Airport
also handles private
aircraft as well. Click on the official Rome
Airports Website for live flight arrival and departure information.

CAR
Both
airports have rental car facilities which can be bought with your airline
ticket. Please enquire direct to your airline for any rental car
requirements. Driving in
Rome
can be somewhat stressful, especially during rush hour traffic. The highways
and motorways “A”-roads (Autostrade)
attract a toll as they are managed privately and are very well maintained.
Should
you arrange your own car rental, Fiuggi can be reached directly from central Rome (Roma Centro)
